Which headset should I purchase?
Recently I have been told that whenever I use my microphone that is attached to my headset, I am too quiet. My friends and teammates are unable to hear me, especially in those crucial times where information has to be told to everyone. A microphone is as important as the audio that goes through them. Currently, I have a wireless headset with superb audio quality, and wireless, so I am able to use it more conveniently, but as I said, the mic is not as good.
Now I am tasked with purchasing a new headset. When comparing the two, I have to analyze whether I still prefer the wireless one with a little upgrade on the mic or a wired one with possibly worse audio quality but with a well-designed microphone.
The first product I have in mind is the Wireless HyperX Cloud III.
This headset has an okay mic attached to it, good battery life, and it is wireless, meaning the convenience is still here. I am able to walk around my room, not get tangled up with the wires, and still have the ability to speak through it. What I am worried about is the slight improvement in the microphone department. Would it be enough? Or could it be just enough where it is justifiable to purchase it?
The other pair I am considering is the Razer BlackShark V2 Pro.
As the comparison goes to its final stages, it has to be time to make a decision. When using my benchmarks and needs, it does seem like the Wireless HyperX Cloud III clears this debate. Just having the wireless feature with slight upgrades makes it all the more worth it. It is also at a lesser price, meaning that I would not expect that much from it, but it also means that my expectations can be accomplished if they are lower.
