About Remi F

 Hello! My name is Remi F; well, at least my pseudonym is. I write Around the World in 80 Games, a lifestyle blog that showcases my experience as an esports athlete and an avid traveler who uses his gaming as a way to travel the world. Ever since I was a kid, my life has been filled with traveling and gaming, going from country to country and making sure I bring my console or computer with me so I can always occupy myself with games. This passion has carried me even to the present times, where I am currently playing for a Division 1 college as an esports athlete under a scholarship and using this opportunity to travel around the U.S. playing in varsity competitions. 

I started Around the World in 80 Games in 2025 to share my journey and perhaps show others a world through gaming and traveling. This blog is a way to showcase my interest in exploring new cultures and my experiences of being a competitive gamer. My expertise ranges from being able to provide gamers with any knowledge that I can share (this could be some cool tips to help rank you guys up!), helping others see the beauty of being exposed to many cultures and even visiting them, or helping readers perform at their best, especially when it comes to competing for something!

For me, gaming and traveling have always been about building connections and sharing unforgettable experiences, which is what I hope to do with this blog! I am also more than happy to give advice and motivation for gamers, travelers, or anyone who wants to seek something adventurous.

 Esports started and grew with the idea of accessibility, online and free . In traditional sports such as football or basketball, to view these games in person or even online with a streaming service costs money. So, the hypothetical question that lies here is, what if you had to pay to watch esports? If esports moved behind a paywall, would it have a positive or negative effect on the overall industry?
