Top 5 Travel Locations I have been to
There are several fascinating travel locations that the world provides to us; choosing one that you like might be a challenge more often than not. Personally, I have had the opportunity and privilege to travel to many destinations around the world, ranging from the Americas to East Asia, and I am using this post to use my experiences to maybe help fellow travelers pick their next hotspot!
Here are the top 5 travel locations that I have been to.
5. Guangzhou, China
The first Asian location in this list, but definitely not one that should be overlooked. This city has a mix of a futuristic setting while simultaneously having its own "Pearl River" flow through its city. Beautiful areas to walk around in, covered in green scenery and a lot of malls and activities around this area. There is a surplus of food spots here ranging from high-end award-winning restaurants to local mouth-savoring food stops that will definitely be value for your buck.
Local farms and vineyards, historical buildings and culture, and the world's most unique architectural buildings: Florence brings that into its beautiful personality and grabs people's attention. This city also has a river flowing through it, which brings more reason to enjoy the walks around here while trying to explore its past. Given its Italian background too, the food here will not disappoint and is definitely my top Italian city.
A place where you can spend one day hiking up mountains and exploring "Monkey Island" and another day enjoying yourself sunbathing in one of many beaches they have, Bali has it all for a nice, adventurous summer vacation. If that does not excite you enough, Bali has many historical temples and other landmarks that have been there for hundreds of years. Showing the modern and historical aspects of this destination can bring along many visitors with different goals from traveling.
It is not uncommon to see Dubai on these types of lists, and there is a reason for it. Located on the Arabian Peninsula, Dubai is most known for its record buildings and enormous malls surrounding the city. This is an international hub in terms of cultures, foods, and even things to do. Indoor ski parks, phenomenal cinemas, sandy mountains to drive over, and a marina purely for yachts, this place has everything. Also, this is a city I have lived in for over 12 years, and I will come back to this in the near future.
At my number one spot, I leave it to Singapore. This is my most recent travel spot, and it was my 3rd time going there. This has everything Dubai has to offer but at a much easier convenience. You get the beaches and beautiful gardens and buildings at walking distance. The cuisine here is mostly Asian from its neighboring countries, and it is one of the best cuisines I have ever had. This place emphasizes public transport, which makes it very visitor-friendly. For only 2 or 3 dollars a day, you are able to take the underground metro across the whole city. This is a forward-looking country and also quite futuristic, similar to Guangzhou, earlier on this list. Architecturally speaking, this is probably the most modern place in the world. Definitely recommend going here, but not during the summer. Anytime before or after the summer will yield the best experience possible.
