  What Are Esports Scholarships? Esports scholarships are similar to the mainstream athletic scholarship, where it acts as a financial aid program offered by colleges to skilled athletes who are able to compete in varsity-level teams. These scholarships function similarly to the traditional scholarships, where they cover tuition, housing, dining, or any other educational expenses in exchange for a student to compete under the school and maintain the student's academic level. How does an Esport scholarship work? Colleges that have an esports program are able to recruit players internationally or locally. It's a school night; I am in a group chat with all my friends, and we are deep into our gaming session, having fun, fragging people, and overall just having a good time.
